 1) Do you listen and make eye contact with your coach while they are talking?

2) Are you a good teammate who won't be a cancer to your team, even when you are not having individual success?

3) Can you handle failure?

4) Are you willing to put in extra work outside of team events?

5) Are you competitive?

6) Can you be accountable and not blame others for your actions?

7) Do you truly love baseball?

8) Are you willing to put in the work the other 99% of athletes at your age won't?

9) Will you participate in the team prayer, even if you don't believe?

10) Will you be a good role model on and off the field, including in the classroom and at home? 

 Questions for the athlete's parents (not for the athlete to answer for their parents):

1) Do you hold your athlete accountable?

2) Will you be responsible for getting your athlete to events on time?

3) Do you understand that if your athlete bats last, sits on the bench, doesn't get to play shortstop, or gets disciplined, it is part of life?

4) Can you enjoy watching your athlete compete without coaching from the stands?

5) Will you be a good role model for your athlete?
